TESTIMONIALS

I came to Experts' seeking help on my applications with 680 on GMAT. It was September and I did not have time to improve my score. However, I was guided to prepare for GMAT as the help from Experts' eased the applications burden on me. While I achieved a 750 on GMAT with the Experts' Global Guidance Program, my applications were also almost completed. I still applied everywhere in Round-1 and achieved multiple admits with great scholarships!

I cannot thank Experts’ and Mayank enough for helping me give my best towards getting an MBA from a top school. When I joined Experts’, I was given an honest reality check and counseled to defer my application process by one year. During this span, I received continuous guidance for GMAT Prep as well as profile building. After following Experts’ material and sticking to the study plan religiously I saw my GMAT scores rise significantly! I did not need any other material and I would not recommend using any other material either. I followed what Mayank suggested and stuck to it. Most important i saw results. I was one of those people who wanted to apply to HBS/Stanford, and Mayank was the only person (among the many I talked to) who did not brush it off as just another guy unrealistically dreaming of HBS. He said he would help me put the best possible application, and he did. Interviews with Stanford and Duke are testimony to that. He helped bring out my true self in the essays and that contributed to a stellar application. Both Mayank and Anand spent time helping me prepare for interviews and conducted multiple Mock interviews. All said, I was very happy with the personal attention and have recommended Experts’ to many of my friends.”

History

Benjamin Franklin pioneered the effort to create an institution for providing higher education to the future generations of Philadelphia, resulting in the foundation of Public Academy of Philadelphia in 1749. The Academy opened in January 1751 along with a free Charity School that started in September. In 1779, the College was taken over by the State of Pennsylvania and was renamed as the University of the State of Pennsylvania. In 1791, the University of the State of Pennsylvania and the College of Philadelphia got united by an Act of Legislature and came to be called as the University of Pennsylvania. In 1881, the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce was founded by American entrepreneur Joseph Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania with the aim to educate visionary business leaders. The MBA degrees were first awarded in the year 1921.

MISSION STATEMENT

Joseph Wharton’s pioneering vision for the School was to produce graduates who would become “pillars of the state, whether in private or in public life.” The Wharton School maintains a long tradition of educating visionary business leaders in academe, business, government, and not-for-profit organizations. Today, Wharton has expanded the scope of this vision to become the most comprehensive source of business knowledge in the world.

Core Strengths of the School

The Wharton MBA program transforms its students into capable business leaders through its unique and rigorous academic learning experience that pushes them to think through uncertain and ambiguous situations, thus, giving them the confidence and skills to lead in complex business situations. Wharton graduates are highly sought after for their rigorous, analytical thinking approach that enables them to unleash compelling evidences, and take well-informed business decisions backed by sound reasoning in crucial circumstances. Students gain access to critical analytical tools that aid them in arriving at sound decisions by sticking to facts, data and evidences. Wharton was a pioneer in introducing the Learning Team Model in its curriculum, which is now emulated by other business schools. The Learning Team Model replicates the business environment where employees work together, thus, encouraging the students to cultivate persuasive leadership skills and learn from others’ experiences. The interaction of team members from diverse professional settings and cultural backgrounds facilitates risk taking, collaborative idea generation and deepens their understanding on multiple functional disciplines of business. The MBA Leadership Ventures (Expeditions, Intensives and Workshops) generate self-awareness among the students and play a crucial role in leadership and character development of the students. Expeditions and Intensives are outdoor experiential treks that expose the students to ambiguous and uncertain challenging environments, where they learn to take critical decisions in risky circumstances. Leadership Development Workshops focus on a wide range of topics such as persuasive leadership, ability to influence others, innovation and creativity at workplace, team-building exercises and skills that govern small group behavior dynamics.

Uniqueness in MBA Pedagogy

Entrepreneurship at Wharton is core to its curriculum, with the students developing the right set of skills and management practices to embark on their entrepreneurial journey. Being one of the most influential entrepreneurial centers, Wharton takes pride in preparing its students for an entrepreneurship career whether they intend to build their ideas from scratch or expand their family business. The annual Wharton Business Plan Competition encourages the students to bring their ideas to life through a series of workshops, judges’ feedback and one-to-one mentoring. The final eight teams get to present their companies before the Philadelphia entrepreneurial community. The Wharton Venture Initiating Program VIP is a competitive program where students build and implement their own ventures. Students receive immense support and guidance from the entrepreneurial community and enhance their professional network during this experience. The Entrepreneur-in-Residence EIR program invites successful entrepreneurs to its campus to share their expertise with the students to provide them insights into the challenges of different stages of the startups.

Wharton’s Social Impact Initiative WSII brings together the students, faculty, alumni and external organizations at the complex intersection of business and social impact. WSII is a platform that encourages students and organizations to collaborate and develop advanced business solutions for the social good. The Wharton Community Consultants is a student organization that assists non-profit organizations in Philadelphia and provides real-world consulting opportunities for the students.

Global experiential learning is well integrated with the Wharton MBA curriculum with Global Modular Courses GMC exposing the students to the business challenges and opportunities of a specific region. The Global Immersion Program GIP gives an opportunity for the students to travel abroad and interact with local business leaders and government officials to develop an understanding of the local business practices and political environments. Students can gain international consulting experience with the Global Consulting Practicum GCP and delve into the international business problems while working with teams of partner schools in China, India, Spain, Israel etc.

When I first started to look for professional help for my applications, I came across experts global. I decided to go ahead with their service after talking to Mr. Mayank and I am happy to have done so. Mr. Mayank and Shailesh always encouraged me to chase my dreams and look for those aspects in my profile which I did not even consider worthwhile to mention. During the application process, I travelled out of india for a short term assignment. In spite of the time difference, my mentor Mr. Shailesh was always available for me. His timeliness and dedication towards his students is commendable. It is only with their help that, I was able to get an interview call from all the 4 colleges I applied to and admit offers from 3 of them. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire team at experts global for making my dream come true
