    Description

The Asian Institute of Management (AIM) was established in 1968 in partnership with Harvard Business School, the Ford Foundation, and visionaries of the Asian academic and business communities. Upon its founding, AIM declared its commitment towards making a difference in sustaining the growth of Asian societies.

AIM is one of the leading graduate schools of business and management in the region, offering graduate education that has molded Asia’s business, development, and entrepreneurial leaders and managers.

As an Asian institute, AIM knows how Asian managers are best developed; AIM knows how business and development organizations in Asia are best managed. For this purpose, AIM has created programs specifically for Asian needs and uses an approach attuned to the Asian mind and to Asian problems.

AIM is organized into schools offering master’s degree and non-degree programs.

    1. W. SyCip Graduate School of Business. The GSB’s two degree programs—the Master in Business Administration (MBA) and Master in Management (MM)—are global in scope and content, Asian in context and delivery, and designed with emphasis on practitioner-oriented learning.

    2. Center for Development Management (CDM). CDM’s degree and certificate programs seek to produce development catalysts capable of implementing programs with the largest impact on the poorest and focused on building strong institutions for sustainability.

    3. Executive Education and Lifelong Learning Center (EXCELL). EXCELL is AIM’s answer to companies’ demand for continuous education. Its programs transform executives in the Asian region into skilled and well-versed global managers and leaders.

AIM has a network of more than 37,000 alumni located in more than 70 countries worldwide. Alumni chapters are present in 15 countries: Bangladesh, Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, USA, and Vietnam.
