I came to Experts' seeking help on my applications with 680 on GMAT. It was September and I did not have time to improve my score. The University of Notre Dame got established on November 26th, 1842 when a French priest Rev. Edward Sorin of the Congregation of Holy Cross took possession of 524 acres of snow-covered land from the Bishop of Vincennes. Father Sorin named the institution in his native language as “L’Université de Notre Dame du Lac” (The University of Our Lady of the Lake). A fire destroyed the main building in 1879. Father Sorin pioneered the effort to reconstruct the new building by employing 300 workers and successfully rebuilt the new building. The Mendoza College of Business was founded in 1921 by Holy Cross priest, John Francis O’hara who later became the President of the University.

Students get access to Funding Advisory Services and Securing Start-up Funding that help them with the initial financial funding required for their startup. The annual McCloskey Business Plan Competition fosters the entrepreneurial spirit of the students and encourages them to turn their dreams into reality. Students network with members of the Irish Entrepreneurs and IrishAngels networks, who have immense experience in entrepreneurial endeavors and support new business development, to get valuable insights into starting and growing a new venture successfully. Students get the opportunity to network with venture capitalists, investors and members of Notre Dame Business community and learn about the nuances of running a startup. The MicroVenturing Certificate program is an initiative by the Center, where students work as consultants for low-income local businesses and entrepreneurs, and study their business model. Students conduct extensive market and competitive research and come up with sustainable solutions to improve the business profitability. During the first semester, students are taught basics of microfinance, microenterprise development and social enterprise theory with the aim to equip them with the knowledge and skills to conduct socially-responsible business. During the second semester, students work as consultants in a diverse set of industries and improve the performance of the client firms in the market by developing sustainable cutting-edge solutions after conducting thorough research and analyzing the impact of every possible business solution.
The School is located at Notre Dame, Indiana. Notre Dame has two beautiful lakes namelySt. Joseph’s and St. Mary’s that have long trails for walking and jogging.
