The OU College of Commerce and Industry was one of the first schools in the west of the Mississippi in 1917 to be accredited by AASCB International. Later, in 1929 it got transformed into the College of Business Administration. Adams Hall that was built to conduct the course was named after its first dean, Arthur B. Adams. In 1997, Michael F.
