"Confusing-cause-with-effect"
A favorite GMAT CR fallacy.
Example: Every time I dream, I sleep.
Spot the error: Teacher taught that the Earth revolved around the sun."revolved" is not correct. It must be "revolves".(Universal truths are always conveyed in simple present tense).
If it really comes down to "guessing" on the GMAT...- On SCs, go for the "shortest" choices.- On RCs and CRs, go for the "longest" choices.- On DS, go for "C".
Indefinite pronouns are singular.Examples: everybody, someone, anyone, anybody, somebody, anything, whatsoever, whoever, whomsoever, something, no one, nothing etc
"Who" vs "Whom" on SC"Who" is the "subject" form."Whom" is the "object" form.
Indefinite pronouns are singular.Examples: everybody, someone, anyone, anybody, somebody, anything, whatsoever, whoever, whomsoever, something, no one, nothing etc

Key difference between "Strengthening statements" and "Evaluation statements" on CR:
- A strengthening statement "helps" an argument.
- An evaluation statement may "help" or "hurt" an argument.
-- Either way, it leads to an "evaluation" on the argument.
