Q: Does Experts’ Global provide MBA admission consulting for all programs in all geographies? Do we specialize in some particular Business Schools and geographies?
A: We help students in applying to MBA programs worldwide. We do not specialize in “schools” or “geographies”; rather, our MBA admission consulting practice specializes in personalizing each student’s candidature to the program being applied for. With that skill, all schools and geographies are accessible. While many of our students pursue American, European, or Asian MBA programs, our alumni base boasts of students from every one of the world’s top 250 business schools.
Q: Does one need to visit our office, meet the MBA admission consulting team in person? Is there any geographical barrier?
A: No. Students from across the world work with us on their MBA applications. The entire process is carried out seamlessly over emails, phone calls, and video calls.
Q: What are our professional charges for MBA admission consulting?
A: We have intentionally not listed the fee for MBA applications on our website. Unlike our other offerings, admissions consulting requires a deeper understanding of the offering, and since we work with a limited number of applicants, we aim to ensure alignment. Therefore, the financial discussion is best held once the candidate is fully aware of the offering and its nuances, so that there is no expectation mismatch. Rest assured, among the legacy premium admission consulting firms, we are likely the most economical.
Q: The fee is a bit higher than MBA admission consulting by some of the other firms…?
A: Among the established, premium admission consulting practices, our fee is actually the most reasonable. It may appear higher only when compared with, respectfully, the non-premium firms.
Here is why our fee stands where it does:
- This is Boutique Consulting: We work with a limited, pre-decided number of applicants each year. During peak periods, we need to freeze enrollments.
- Every Student is a Mission: The admits and scholarships of each applicant we work with become a mission. If we on-board X students in a year, our team sees it as X missions to accomplish!
- End-to-End Consulting: Unlike many firms, we do not raise fresh bills at every step. With us, all parts of your MBA application – storyboarding, essays, résumé, forms, interviews etc – are covered. Post-enrollment, our sole focus is securing your admits and scholarships!
- Seasoned, Accomplished Mentors (Founder-led): Our admission consulting practice is founder-led and each mentor in our team has guided thousands of applicants from diverse backgrounds, and continues in this role out of genuine passion for mentoring.
- Not One MBA Consultant, But a Team of Specialist Mentors: You work with a rich team – theme mentor, application mentor, essay mentor, résumé mentor, interview mentor, and two student officers. Each member brings five-star expertise and deep experience in their domain.
- Original Work (No AI, No Templates etc): We help you create authentic drafts that bring out your true story and your strongest case. No templates or AI tools are used at any stage of the process. What emerges is original work that is entirely yours!
- No Cap on Anything: Unlike most consulting firms, we do not limit the hours of consulting, the number of drafts, or the number of mock interviews. We believe in non-transactional, authentic mentoring and work with you until we know you are truly ready.
- We Take Ownership: We often hear that a consulting firm’s role was largely limited to editing essays. With us, it is end-to-end ownership: storyboarding, school shortlisting, essays, résumé, application forms, recommendations, interviews, and every other support you need!
- Interview Prep Included: A common malpractice in the MBA consulting industry is to exclude obvious parts, such as interview prep, from the package. With us, there are no post-enrollment financial discussions – every part of the application, including MBA interview prep, is already included.
- Perhaps the Only Consultant to Guarantee Admits and Scholarships: Before enrollment, we assess your profile and preferences to draft a clear guarantee statement. If the guarantee is not met, 100% of your fee is refunded. We obviously know what we are doing.
Recommendation: As seniors in your pursuit, we suggest you choose MBA admission consultants who you believe will provide the best mentoring. Better applications lead to better admits, and that can change your life. Even a modest scholarship will more than offset the fee difference. In the long run, the fee will not matter. The results will!
Q: The testimonials do not mention my target school(s).
A: The
testimonials have been written voluntarily by only a small fraction of our successful students. They reflect the quality, but not the full extent, of our work. Many students prefer not to disclose that they took professional help for their MBA applications. From our experience, we have guided students from practically all backgrounds into almost each of the world’s top 250 MBA programs.
Q: What is the best time to start the MBA applications process?
A: There is nothing like starting the application too early. In fact, the earlier, the better. Many students enroll with us more than a year in advance, and in such cases, we are able to guide them on profile enrichment as well as GMAT/GRE prep. An early enrollment may also secure certain promptness discounts, which are the only discounts we offer.
Q: When is the school shortlisting done? Can it be done before one enrolls?
A: Before enrolling, a student is given a broad idea of the range of schools they may target, such as “
US News top 25 MBA programs” or “European top 10 MBA programs.” The exact shortlisting, however, is possible only at a more advanced stage, once we have carefully brainstormed over the student’s strengths, skills, interests, and most importantly, career plans — as alignment between program strengths and career goals is one of the most important parts of school shortlisting.
Q: Experts’ Global is known for winning MBA scholarships. How does it work? Do I need to take any additional offering for scholarships?
A: Scholarships are an integral part of our MBA admission consulting, and you do not need to take any additional offering. All our packages are comprehensive and include every stage of the application process, including scholarship consideration. Most MBA scholarships are profile-based. By preparing strong applications, we not only enhance the chances of admits but also of scholarships.
However, not all MBA programs are scholarship-friendly, and some schools are far more aligned with scholarships. A strong sync with a student’s candidacy and career goals really matters in winning scholarships, and our MBA admission consulting experience since 2008 helps. Before school shortlisting, we carefully understand each student’s preferences and constraints. If scholarship is a prime priority, we shortlist schools accordingly to maximize both admit and scholarship potential. Regardless, we strive for both admits and scholarships for every student.
Q: What is the usual turn-around time for the complete MBA admission consulting process?
A: Generally, it takes around 6 weeks to complete the entire process judiciously for all schools. When deadlines are close, we are able to complete the work sooner as well. We do not charge anything extra for faster delivery; instead, we work as a team with the student and put in the extra hours needed, always in the student’s best interest. That said, the nature of this work is creative, and the more time we have, the better.
Q: Is it fine to start the MBA application process before getting the GMAT/GRE score?
A: Yes, it is absolutely fine, even recommended, to start the process before receiving your GMAT/GRE score. Doing so gives us more time to work on your applications and to guide you on profile enhancement. Many of our students choose our
GMAT/GRE Prep and Admission Consulting bundle, which enables them to undergo organized
GMAT prep or
GRE prep, work on their MBA applications, and receive support on profile-building simultaneously.
Q: What is the ideal number of schools to apply to?
A: That is an important question. Some students are very aggressive and apply to most of the top 25 schools, while others are too conservative and apply to just 2–3 schools. Our most popular package strikes the right balance with 11 schools: five dream or stretch schools, five practical schools, and one safe school. Typically, applicants receive around seven interview calls from this list and, by the end of the season, have multiple options to choose from. However, before you enroll, you will be counseled on the right number of schools for you, based on your preferences, constraints, and career plan.
Q: Discounts? What if I am a reference?
A: You will appreciate that financial matters are best kept standardized. As for references, more than half of our MBA admission consulting students come through referrals from our alumni.
Q: What is the process for enrollment?
A: It is strongly recommended that you complete a strategy session with us before enrolling. After the session, the payment and enrollment details will be shared with you. Most students enroll by making an account transfer or by using their credit or debit cards, and most card and payment options are accepted.
Q: Is the fee to be paid upfront?
A: Yes, the entire fee is to be paid upfront. Post-enrollment, we do not wish to revisit the financials and instead focus fully on preparing strong MBA applications and securing you admits and scholarships.
Q: Is there a need to take any support from any other institution, friends, or family?
A: No. For best results, we sincerely recommend that you rely solely on the mentoring from your team of specialists at Experts’ Global.
Q: What is the success rate of our MBA admission consulting service?
A: Approximately 100%. Whenever a student follows our guidance sincerely, admits, often multiple and with substantial scholarships, consistently follow. Rarely, there are students who do not take our recommendations or do not follow the process; such cases are not considered in analyzing our success rate. We try our best to avoid such enrollments. When we do not get sincere mentee vibes from a potential applicant, we humbly avoid the enrollment.
Q: What is the profile of the MBA admission consultants?
A: The MBA admission consulting mentors are individuals who have done it all themselves and are motivated to help the next generation. At Experts’ Global, the mentors are graduates from eminent schools, carry rich industry experience, are language lovers and skilled communicators, and have guided hundreds of students from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds into the world’s most prominent business programs.
Q: Do you use templates or AI tools in the MBA admission consulting process?
A: No templates. No AI. We work with you to create personalized, original applications that reflect your unique story, abilities, and aspirations.
Q: Is there any difference in the quality between the Guarantee version and the Standard version of the MBA admission consulting packages?
A: The only difference between the two versions is the fee-back guarantee. The quality, scope, and extent of mentoring remain the same.
Q: Is it true that you work with only a limited number of students each year?
A: Yes. As suggested earlier, we consult only a limited, pre-decided number of students every year and need to freeze enrollments multiple times during a session. We work together when the broad expectations of the student regarding the applications are in sync.
We humbly avoid enrollment when we feel we may not be the right fit.
Q: Do you work only with candidates who have strong profiles and high GMAT/GRE scores?
A: No. That is an incorrect perception. While many of our students secure admits to highly ranked programs with strong GMAT/GRE scores, our students’ scores span from the 100th percentile to the 40th percentile. As long as a student is committed to sincerely following our processes and is aligned with the prospective admits, we are happy to help.
