Hey Guys – I had 4.5 years of work experience with EY and had a GMAT Score of 680 (V49 Q34). My target schools were ISB and NTU. It was a below par score for all of these schools and being a GEM (General, Engineer, and Male) candidate, I was sure it would be tough to get into any of these schools. I gave GMAT Online exam on Oct 13th and was quite disappointed with the scores, especially when I was scoring ~720 in my official mocks. But as I already missed the R1 deadlines and R2 deadlines were round the corner, I decided to go ahead with this score. Since my score was not competitive and it was extremely hectic at workplace, I thought of taking help from an admission consultant. I was really confused when it came to selecting the right admission consulting service as the market is now flooded with consultants. I took assistance from two different admission consulting services – One for NTU (Admitted) and One for ISB (Denied without interview).Coordinating with 2 different admission consultant wasn’t easy as I had to fill different profiling questionnaires and had to get on brainstorming sessions with different people. The entire process for NTU (that I did with Experts’ Global) was much better. At Experts’ Global, they work with thousands of candidates every year, therefore the process is much more professional and streamlined. The mentors were very helpful and supportive. As I got enrolled, I was given a task schedule which was continuosly tracked by the EG team.Process: The entire process was very streamlined. Experts’ Global team shared a list of good videos around the application process to watch. Then I was asked to fill in a school selection and profiling questionnaire that helped Experts’ Global team to know me better. All the tasks, from initial questionnaire to your admit, have a very fixed timelines. EG team regularly followed up with me to ensure there are no delays. Genuine concerns around the timelines were incorporated. For example, I requested them to delay the mock interview timeline which they readily incorporated.Essays and Resume Editing: The quality of essays were top notch. But you have to read them carefully and ask for the required edits to make the stories more personalised and aligned with your own goals. The essay mentor was helpful and we made at least 2-3 round of edits in my essays.Interview Prep: You get a list of the most common and the most important questions. These questions are quite useful. Then you get couple of mock interview sessions by the interview mentor. The interview mentor at EG is very experienced and I got really helpful feedback on the structure and content of my answers and also the delivery.Although I’m extremely happy with the NTU admit, but beyond the results, I want to thank the entire team for the mentorship and continuous support. While the other consultant had a ton of good reviews on different platforms, he was quoted by Poets and Quants as a top admission consultant, and was slightly more expensive, I found Experts’ Global’s experience to be much better. Having worked with 2 different consultants, I can strongly recommend Experts’ Global. Though I learnt a lot by working with 2 different admission consultants, I regret not going with Experts’ Global for my ISB Application. I wish you don’t make the same mistake. All the best guys !!!
