MBA Interview Preparation

Call for interview from a B-school is generally an indication of being closer to admit

Most schools, however, invite multiple candidates to interview for each slot they have. ISB, for instance, rejects ~5 candidates, at the interview stage, for each it selects. Needless to say, therefore, interview stage must not be taken with utmost seriousness. While we have comprehensive admissions consulting programs, many seek help only with the interview preparation bit. Our MBA Interview Preparation module is meant for helping such candidates.

Here is a simple and organized, four steps approach…

Over a detailed Skype call, you discuss the broad theme of your candidature with your assigned mentor. The mentors carry rich industry experience and have guided hundreds into the top notch institutions. Over the story boarding session, you gain clarity on connecting the dots on your academics, experiences, reasons for pursuing MBA, post-MBA goals, and long-term career vision. This background work ensures that you own a convincing story!

2. WATCH OUR TRAINING VIDEOS 2. WATCH OUR TRAINING VIDEOS

Our rich repertoire of ~20 MBA interview preparation training videos shall train you on all aspects of interviewing- from content to mannerisms and from body language to etiquettes. The few hours spent in this training shall go a long way, not only in your pursuit for management education but also in obtaining coveted post MBA job profiles!

3. FILL A DETAILED QUESTIONNAIRE 3. FILL A DETAILED QUESTIONNAIRE

Armed with your story boarding and the learning from the rich training sessions, you shall now need to prepare answers to the 25 frequently asked questions. The purpose is not to prepare a script (that often does more harm than good) but to have your thoughts collected in an organized manner and put forth on paper.

4. MOCK INTERVIEWS WITH YOUR MENTOR 4. MOCK INTERVIEWS WITH YOUR MENTOR –

At this stage, you shall have mock interviews with your Mentor. These mock interviews, generally over Skype, are on the lines of real MBA interviews by the world’s most eminent institution. Each mock interview is followed by rigorous feedback on all aspects of your performance, together with a recording of your performance. You are expected to apply the feedback, practice for a couple of days, and return for the next mock.
