ISB IICA Partnership

Designing a completely new core syllabus, a Short Term Programme in CSR Management has been devised as a result of the collaboration between Indian School of Business (ISB) and the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA). The program has been co-designed for delivery at ISB’s Hyderabad and Mohali campuses, and at the IICA campus at Manesar by the National Foundation of CSR, IICA and Centre for Executive Education, ISB. The program, comes at an opportune time when the Indian corporate sector is gearing up to build capacity for its CSR initiatives in the light of the new Companies Act 2013 mandating 2% of company profits for CSR activities.

The Indian School of Business (ISB)
The Indian School of Business (ISB) is a private business school in India with campuses at Hyderabad and Mohali. It is a non-profit organization. It is an internationally top-ranked B-School that provides an MBA level post graduate program in management, executive education for senior management and business research programs.

The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA)
The principal institution for corporate affairs in India-the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs(IICA),is established by and affiliated to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. It has been established as a as a unique world-class institution to function as a think tank, action research, service delivery and capacity building support to the Ministry, corporate sector, professionals and related stakeholders.

Program Overview
A one-of-its-kind program, it is offered by way of a 16-week certificate program. It is one of the first-of-its-kind attempts to train and develop senior leadership, and is likely to contribute significantly towards effective implementation of the new legislation.
The program is offered as a hybrid model, combining classroom and online learning. It is spread over a period of 16 weeks, including three on-campus contact sessions. Participants continue the course online during the interim periods through ISB’s technology-aided tools.
Officials and executives from the private and public sectors as also not-for-profit organizations with an average of six to seven years of work experience are eligible for admission into the program, which is designed to also enable and build the capacity of participants who are not necessarily from the CSR domain but have to execute this function within their organizations.

Faculty
The programis delivered by experienced faculty from IICA and ISB along with the international faculty from top global b-schools, Independent consultants, industry and thought leaders.

Eligibility
The applicant should have a Bachelors degree in any discipline or an equivalent qualification. The applicant should possess minimum, 5 years of full-time work experience as on the date of submitting the application.
