"GMAT was looking to be a daunting task since I had never taken a computer based test of such a time duration. But the Experts' advice really worked and took the fear out of my mind. The study material was extremely good as it contains the relevant and the best of all topics from various sources and at a very reasonable rate.Hence the quality of the material far exceeds the cost. AWA template recommended is in sync with what is expected from GMAT takers and covers all aspects of analytical writing evaluators are looking for. All this helped to me score a good 740 with a scaled score of 5.0 in AWA."

I cannot thank Experts’ and Mayank enough for helping me give my best towards getting an MBA from a top school. When I joined Experts’, I was given an honest reality check and counseled to defer my application process by one year. During this span, I received continuous guidance for GMAT Prep as well as profile building. After following Experts’ material and sticking to the study plan religiously I saw my GMAT scores rise significantly! I did not need any other material and I would not recommend using any other material either. I followed what Mayank suggested and stuck to it. Most important i saw results. I was one of those people who wanted to apply to HBS/Stanford, and Mayank was the only person (among the many I talked to) who did not brush it off as just another guy unrealistically dreaming of HBS. He said he would help me put the best possible application, and he did. Interviews with Stanford and Duke are testimony to that. He helped bring out my true self in the essays and that contributed to a stellar application. Both Mayank and Anand spent time helping me prepare for interviews and conducted multiple Mock interviews. All said, I was very happy with the personal attention and have recommended Experts’ to many of my friends.”

Yale was founded in 1700 as the Collegiate School for “Public employment both in Church and Civil State.” In 1716, the trustees decided to move the school to a more hospitable location-New Haven. In 1718, the School was renamed as Yale College in honor of the contributions made by Elihu Yale. The College survived the American Revolutionary War and grew steadily in the first 100 years of its formation. The nineteenth and twentieth centuries saw the establishment of graduate and professional schools, thus, making Yale a true university. The School of Management got established in 1974.

Like all great research universities, Yale has a tripartite mission: to create, preserve, and disseminate knowledge. Yale aims to carry out each part of its mission at the highest level of excellence, on par with the best institutions in the world. Yale seeks to attract a diverse group of exceptionally talented men and women from across the nation and around the world and to educate them for leadership in scholarship, the professions, and society

Core Strengths of the School

The Yale MBA program offers an integrated curriculum, where students are able to understand how business decisions impact a company, industry or an economy. The core management courses and electives help the students understand the working of the whole organization and how the various functional disciplines of business are interconnected. The program enhances the analytical capabilities of the students and enables them to take on increasingly complex business challenges in the future. The Leadership Development program LDP commences in the first year and works at four levels-individual level, interpersonal/team level, organizational level and global level. The LDP works at a personalized level by encouraging the students to develop and implement their own leadership plan. The leadership plan comprises of leadership practicum projects that may be in the form of club leadership or creating a new event for the school or engaging in community service or launching a business venture. A regular assessment happens through a unique assessment tool and the students receive professional guidance throughout the project. The entire experience enables the students to develop a vision and strategy that would prepare them to lead across boundaries.

Uniqueness in MBA Pedagogy

The Raw Case Approach presents the students with extensive data about a real world business situation through a web-based platform that includes video interviews with some of the key actors. The approach discards the traditional 10-page narrative that would lead to a single decision point. The web-based design contains huge amount of information in contrast to the 10-page narrative. Students work in teams to sift through the data and perform deep-rooted analysis of the raw case to arrive at a sustainable solution. The Case Research and Development Team CRDT collates material for the Raw Case Approach covering a broad spectrum of topics. CRDT brings case-materials from a variety of sectors, geographic locations and cultures that present management dilemmas and the current trends in the emerging markets. This new and unique approach allows the students to scan through the data, pick up relevant information coming from various sources and analyze the entire material.

Yale aims at building a global perspective among the students on a variety of issues such as political, legal, social, business and environmental through numerous international study opportunities. The International Experience Course presents a leader’s point of view on the global business environment. A 10-day trip to one or more business capitals at the end of the course is an excellent opportunity for the students to connect with business executives of the visiting company and political leaders of the country. The Global Social Enterprise and the Global Social Entrepreneurship courses are the elective courses with an international focus, where students provide consulting services to an organization belonging to another geographic location and connect with the social entrepreneurs of the region. The Global Network Week gives an opportunity for the students to delve into the specialization of their interest at an international location semi-annually. Students can also enroll and get benefited from the semester-long exchange program that gives them deeper insights into the business, economy and culture of the host country.

The MBA application process can be quite challenging at first. Finding a benchmark and evaluating oneself is hard. When I began my application process, within the set of limitation that I was working under, I wasn’t very confident about my chances. Shailesh and Mayank evaluated my profile thoroughly and were very patient in understanding my constraints and requirements. They helped me structure my thoughts and motivated to apply to the better B-Schools. At every stage, they went above and beyond what was required. I never realised when they ceased to be ‘admission consultants’ and became ‘mentors’. Their mentorship helped me, not just with my applications to universities abroad, but also through the application process to Indian schools.”
