Your personal submissions are a chance for you to introduce yourself and define what sustainable innovation means to you. We encourage you to use examples from your professional life, academic accomplishments, community engagement, travels and other key events and activities in your life. This is a chance to provide insight into your leadership and teamwork skills, creative thinking, values and how you collaborate with others.

1. Essay Question 1: Career road map (written)

Tell us about your career goals and how the UVic MBA will help you achieve them.

• connect these goals to what you have already accomplished in your life, and what impact you hope to make in the future
• provide specific examples
• must be a standard written document, 500-700 words in length

2. Essay Question 2: Sustainable innovation video

Tell us why the UVic MBA in Sustainable Innovation is a good fit for you and why you are a good fit for our program. Show us your understanding of the values and culture of the UVic MBA. Give us insight into who you are and what contributions you will make to the program.

This video submission must:

• be 3 minutes in length
• include you speaking
• be submitted by uploading it as an “unlisted” video to YouTube or another digital platform. Include the link to your video as a PDF document in your application.
